15th International Exhibition and Conference on “Smart and Sustainable City Solutions” from 19-21st September 2018 in Mumbai

MUNICIPALIKA is an international platform to engage with policies, strategies and cutting-edge technological innovations towards smart and sustainable living in cities.

Combined with CAPEx, the platform, through an annual exhibition and conference, provides a mega-networking forum for governments, experts, entrepreneurs and service providers to collectively find solutions to urban challenges and living systems.

For the last 14 years MUNICIPALIKA CAPEx International Conference and Exhibition has been instrumental in highlighting trends within urbanization. Past events, held in New Delhi, Chennai and Bangalore among other major cities, have seen attendance by Mrs. Vasundhara Raje (hon’ble CM of Rajasthan), Ms. Maya Singh (Hon’ble Minister of Urban Development and Housing), Mr. Sudhakar Sonawane (Navi Mumbai Municipal Corporation) along with industry leaders and other dignitaries. The initiative has established partnerships with prominent organisations, such as the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Indian Green Building Council (IGBC), Center for Green Mobility, Indian Biogas Association and the All India Association for Industries among others.

Programmes such as the 100 new Smart Cities Mission and Swachh Bharat Mission for Sanitation for All by the Government are pushing all stakeholders to create an enabling environment for building better, cleaner and healthier cities. With this focus in mind, the Good Governance India Foundation and Fairfest Media Ltd. has announced MUNICIPALIKA co-located with CAPEx and 15th International Exhibition and Conference on “Smart and Sustainable City Solutions” to be held from September 19-21 2018 in the Mumbai Exhibition Center, Mumbai.

Participation is expected from 1600+ delegates, 5000+ urban professionals and 250+ solution providers, making Municipalika 2018 one of the largest platforms in the country for discussion and business promotion in the sector of city-building. Amidst inaugural and valedictory sessions coordinated by Mr. V.Suresh (former CMD, HUDCO and Advisor, Good Governance India Foundation), the three day conference will focus on specific themes spread over it’s duration. Expert speakers will discuss issues related to day-to-day municipal affairs as well as the overall urban development sector:

The event will also host the Open House Citizens Interface, a special interactive session with government authorities and experts. The Builders Association of India Members Annual Meet and Indian Institute of Architects’ Annual Meet, and the CAPEx awards, will all be a part of the forum. The CAPEx conference will showcase emerging trends in sustainable building technologies, new materials and eco-friendly services.

Exhibitors will include solution providers of Environmental and Pollution control systems, Water Treatment, Sanitation and Solid-waste Management and Eco-friendly Building Materials and technology, among others. Dignitaries, Public Administrators and Civil Servants, representatives from Construction and Real Estate departments, and consultants to local bodies are expected to attend. Other attendees would include Public Works Departments, Architects, Engineers, and Providers of Municipal and urban services, Green Built Environment Consultants and even homeowners and buyers are expected to engage in the discourse for building the future of our cities at the event. The Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Ministry of New and Renewable Energy, Ministry of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation and other ministries have shown strong support towards Municipalika. Organisations such as the, Indian Builders’ association, Indian Institute of Architects (IIA),  Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE), India Green Infrastructure Network (IGIN), HUDCO and NEERI among others, will be associating with the event.
